Who can apply for the Kobayashi scholarship?
  1. The applicant should be a student who is enrolled in undergraduate or graduate level of the designated universities as regular students.
  2. The applicant should have nationality of eastern part of Asian countries that lies to the east of India.
  3. The applicant is required to be recommended by the President of his/her university.
  4. The applicant is required to have ability of communicating in Japanese language.
When and how is the Kobayashi scholarship decided?
  1. The application notice is sent to the designated universities usually in January every year.
  2. The applicant should submit the application form to the International Students Office of his/her university to be recommended by the President of the university.
  3. The university should submit the candidates to the Foundation who were recommended by the President of the university.
  4. The Selection Committee of the Foundation will scrutinize the application forms and select the candidates.
  5. The President of the Foundation will make a final decision on the adoption normally in April.
